I'm afraid that I haven't felt very inspired to write lately. (It doesn't help that all my writing stuff is on my main computer, whose power source is dying; I can't even get my stuff off it now, it's so unstable. :/) Hopefully we can get the power supply replaced soon...
Anyways... Remember how I mentioned how I'm taking care of a friend's cat? Well, now I'm taking care of both her cats, which bumps the kitties in the house to three. Now, I love kitties, but three is a bit much (when the cats in the house outnumber the amount of people, I think it can get a bit iffy ;P).
The newest cat is Neon, who's black and orange and as small as my cat, if skinnier. I expected her to be skittish (which she is), but she's actually very sweet, and loves to be petted. (I love Tylor, but he's too squirmy to tolerate being petted for long.)
Neon is also known as the ninja cat, and for good reason, because it took me forever to find her hiding spot in the basement, even with her jingling collar (turns out she was hiding in the bottom box of a stack of three boxes, crammed in tight inside O_o).
I hope Neon will socialize with the other two cats soon (she's even hissing at Isis, who she usually lives with :/). Tylor isn't helping much either, as he chases Neon around every time she pokes her head out (and he just got used to Isis, too; they even sit on the couch together).
I will say that since the other cats arrived, Tylor has become noisier than he used to; but he's also picked up the bad habit of jumping on the kitchen counter, which I thought he couldn't do. (Neon sometimes jumps up on top of the kitchen cupboards to get out of reach of the other cats, since Tylor can't jump that high, and Isis is too fat to. However, Neon also ended up piddling up there, which is why I put her in the basement. Poor kitty... :/)
In other news, I finished playing Ace Attorney Investigations, which was quite enjoyable (yay Edgeworth!). I kind of want to make a few icons from the game now... I also want to start on Soul Silver next, since that all that my Friends list talks about ;P (besides, Pokemon Gold was one of my all-time favourite Pokemon games ever!).
Oh, I also got new glasses recently. The lenses feel a lot lighter than my last pair, and have steel-rimmed frames with metallic-blue "wingtips"; they look much better than I thought they would at the store (which is good, since I'm blind without my glasses ;).
