FE writing ideas

Stupid FF.net... Let me upload my new chapter! >.<

*ahem* Anyways... Got a couple of story ideas I've been thinking about. Mostly involving my Fire Emblem Western AU...

For some time now, I've been thinking of writing a couple of side stories in the Burning Brand universe (I was thinking of calling the series "Ridin' Side-Saddle" XD, but as I only have two solid plot ideas so far, I might just release them as separate stories).

"Lonesome Gunman" - A look into Erk's past, and how he became a hired gun. (No outline yet, but I just need to write it up...)

"A Night at the Saloon" - The guys of "Miss Lynette's Windrunners" have a night out at a saloon, to unwind a bit... But nothing ever goes as planned. (This would take place before Chapter 8 of Burning Brand, and therefore, would probably not be released before that time... Pity, 'cause I'm looking forward to writing it. ;)

And for something a little different, a regular FE story, with a holiday twist:

"The Holly and the Ivy" - Sain has a little fun with holiday foliage, at Kent's expense. (Warning for shonen-ai, but like most of my short pieces, it's supposed to be silly and light-hearted, and not to be taken seriously. ;)

The holiday piece will most likely be my next project, for obvious reasons... I'm also not sure when I'd write the side stories, as I'm still working on Burning Brand, at the moment. (Especially since I need to rework the battle scenario for the upcoming chapter... I have a sneaking suspicion that I won't be able to finish it till next year. XP)

A regular holiday 'fic? WTF? Are you sick? Lol! It's nice to see you writing more, though. Writing is good! Too bad it's shonen-ai, though, since I don't read that. =( Unless it's kind of a "well, it's not REALLY shonen-ai, but references to it for humorous purposes" type of thing. I'm not sure what to call that, though, haha.

I can't wait to read the next chapter to Burning Brand. *Shakes FFN to death* Come on, you stupid site! I mean...lovely, beautiful site...

Ahh, I should be writing...or something.

How is World of Warcraft going for you? Still playing like a fiend?

Eh, like I mentioned, the shonen-ai in my holiday piece is played mostly for laughs, but I understand if you don't care for the genre; I wouldn't want to squick you by accident. :) (I'd explain what's shonen-ai about it, except that would spoil the whole thing, heh.)

Oh, and a better question is, when am I not playing WoW? ;) My guild is currently banging its head on the last boss in Mt. Hyjal (I'd just be happy if we could last 2 minutes on him XP).

You know, I probably could read it... Any kissing? That would squick me, but if there really isn't anything about that, I won't be bothered. But I'm kind of guessing that's probably the whole idea, anyway, lol!

XD! Yeah, WoW is very addicting. What is your guild's name, by the way? I'm so glad I haven't started doing instances, myself... I get so nervous about it, I'd probably want to back out. I'm not that confident about my gaming abilities! XD. Who is your MAIN main character? (You do have several level 70s, don't you?)

Humorous? It doesn't sound too bad...pretty funny, actually. Perhaps I'll read it anyway. I mean, it is the holidays, right? (And besides, you keep posting new chapters for Burning Brand, so you deserve reviews.)

I don't think there is an Aegis on Lothar (the server I usually play on), and honestly, I don't know if I ever have seen that guild before.

And hahaha, that's pretty funny. Yeah. I have bad memories of doing SM and then backing up too far and bringing the entire freaking place down on my brother, sister, other brother, and that other brother's friend. Whoops? Yeah. Perhaps I'd like healing better- being a helpless little healer, standing in the safe places, looking pathetic...yeah.

Fire mage? Now that's cool. My fire mage is Pyrefly, but seriously, she's only level 22 or 23, and I want to level her, but I'm lazy. And at the same time, I want to level my resto druid, my hunter, and my shaman. Lol.

Well, it's up to you if you want to read it. :) I do hit your squick once near the end, so you can always hit the back button before it gets there. ;)

Eh, maybe Aegis sounds generic just to me then. (My favourite guild name on my server is still Bloodbath and Beyond, which apparently is a very common guild name, nowadays.)

Ah yes, SM. I have many bad memories of doing the Cathedral with pickup groups around when WoW first came out...

Everyone knows about it now, but back then... Yeesh. ;P And personally, I don't care for healing myself; I get stressed out about it, especially if I'm not paying enough attention to everyone's health... I do try to play all my guys as well, although I obviously don't care for healing classes (haven't levelled my priest or druid in forever, heh).
