Changed my layout again. Pretty much the same as the last one, but at least I changed the colour scheme. ^_^; (Geez, I hate most of the default colours for Flexible Squares...)
BTW, the new background is of Miles Edgeworth, from "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney", a Nintendo DS game. Sadly, I actually altered the text in the image to the English translation XD (the game is known as "Gyukuten Saiban" in Japan). Yet another obscure game fandom as my layout... (At least I actually played the game this time... Sort of.)
Phoenix Wright is the new fandom that I'm dying to get into... That's because although there is only one game translated at the moment (and I don't have a DS), there are 3 GBA games in Japan. I suppose I could play the Japanese games, but that would spoil the fun...
You see, Phoenix Wright is pretty much a courtroom/mystery game, and part of the fun is figuring out "Whodunnit?" (It reminds me very much of Case Closed/Detective Conan.) And the cast is pretty fun too: the naive attorney, the reserved rival prosecutor, the bumbling detective, the colourful criminals, etc.
As you can see, I've spoilered myself considerably, short of playing the games. (I've played a fan translation of the first case from the third game, and I'm dying to try more!) And the fandom looks fun too; I've been following a Phoenix Wright RP, and I find it really well-done - and at times, brilliantly funny! XD
So yeah, I'm hooked. ^_^; I'm not quite sure how it happened... (Maybe it's because of my old love for Encyclopedia Brown books and the sitcom Night Court? XD) But anyways, I might have to cave in and check out the Japanese games... (Or get a DS - but I don't see that happening anytime soon. ;)P
EDIT: Oh my freaking god, I finally found a DS emulator that'll play the game! :D Now let's see how far I can get in the game before I screw up... (It's a pretty basic emulator.)

Not having played it myself, I'm guessing that the game must be good if it manages to... erm, seduce the tastes of quite a few of the females on my flist!

Yeah, I heard the game got a limited release in the US, so it's hard to come by. :/ And they're probably not going to translate the rest of the games, boo...
(If I had a game script from the DS version and knew how to hack roms, I'd so make a translation patch for the first GBA game. XD)
