Vaida: What are you blathering about, you idiot?
Sain: I was just commenting on how enchanting you look, perched upon that impressive mount...
Vaida: Do you have a deathwish, or something? Don't you realize I could kill you where you stand?
Sain: Ah, such fiery fighting spirit...!
Vaida: What a moron...
Sain: ... Hey, wait, don't go!
Vaida: Fool... Are all of Caelin's pasty-faced knights like this...?

Sain: Ah, the ravishing Dame Vaida! So we meet again!
Vaida: What th... Oh. You're that idiotic knight, from before...
Sain: Wild horses could not keep me away from your charming presence, madam.
Vaida: ...Are you mocking me, boy?
Sain: Oh no, lovely one! It's just that I can find something beautiful in any lass, even one as battle-hardened as you obviously are.
Vaida: Hmph. You recognize my skill in battle, at least...
Sain: So... Might I enquire how you recieved that fascinating scar?
Vaida: ... I'd bash your head in right now, but I don't think it'd be worth the effort.
*Vaida leaves*
Sain: Ooo, such a fiesty lass! But I'll win her over, yet...!

Sain: Might I have a word with you, Dame Vaida?
Vaida: ... Very well. But make it quick, before I lose my patience with you, fool.
Sain: I just wish to make amends for offending you yesterday, when I enquired about your scar...
Vaida: I suspect that anything you would have to say to a woman, is something they would find offensive, boy. But if it would make you leave me alone... I got this scar on my face for being a fool.
Sain: Excuse me?
Vaida: I was once a loyal, headstrong knight like yourself... Idealistic... And idiotic. The unit I used to command decided to protect the innocent, once... And as a reward, our country betrayed us.
Sain: ...
Vaida: For that, we were all sentenced for treason... But I refused to turned tail and run. So I stayed behind, so that my unit could escape... And earned this scar for my pains.
Sain: ...
Vaida: This scar... I do not care if it marrs my face, for it is mark of battle. However, it is a constant reminder that I was both careless and foolish, before... It will not happen again.
Sain: ...
Vaida: So, has your glib tongue fled you, boy? Mock me, if you will!
Sain: You are mistaken, Dame Vaida. Your scar, and how you got it... It only makes me admire you more.
Vaida: ...
Sain: Selflessly giving one's all in battle... That is something I always aspire to do. It seems that we are more alike than I first realized...
Vaida: ...
Sain: So... Now that we know each other better, perhaps we could...?
Vaida: Listen to me, kid... I've seen you in combat, and you fight well. But understand me when I tell you this... If you make another pass at me, I'm going to feed you to my wyvern slowly, piece by piece.
Sain: Er... Duly noted, madam.
It was hard to get into Vaida's head, but hopefully I managed to do so. ^_^; BTW, Sain/Vaida's A support (which is the one I just wrote last night) is based on info from Kent/Heath B support.
On a positive note, I finally got a reply back from the guy who was working on the informal "Sain's Guide to Dating" play! (They haven't cast everyone for it, but it's nice to hear that it's coming along. ^_^)
On a negative note... I've had a couple of people complain about my Sain/Kent shonen-ai story. -_-; People, you may have noticed by now that I like Kent a lot, yet am willing to write for any of his pairings... Any of them. And I try to write for any pairing convincingly (mostly as an experiment for my writing skills, but still)...
I ended up taking down the story from my website, so I didn't have to explain myself (though it's still up on FF.net :P). I'm so tempted to work on a Kent/Heath story out of spite... XD But I've already got way too much writing backlog, as it is.
