Subject to change, as always...

"Moral Fibre" - Kent and Fiora find it difficult to set a moral example for everyone else in the army... When there is mutual attraction between themselves.

"The Steward and the Freelancer" - Takes place post-game, and is based on Kent and Sain's solo endings. (A possible sequel to "What Might Have Been", and will be way more shonen-ai than that piece was. *^_^*)

Stuff I want to work on:

"New Recruits" - A look back to when Kent and Sain were first recruited as trainees, into the army of Caelin. (After finishing "Band of Friends", I didn't feel like working on this as much, but we'll see...)

Sain/Vaida fake A support - I've wanted to finish this in like, forever, but I'm finding it difficult to explain the origin of Vaida's scar (I still want to explain that she wasn't always so cranky ^_~).

"Ride of the Valkyrie" - A glimpse into the mind of Ursula, one of the Four Fangs. (After reading the Ursula thread on FESS, I kind of feel like working on this again...)

Oh, and here are excerpts from a couple of my work-in-progress stories:

The two new recruits squirmed uncomfortably under General Wallace's scrutiny. Neither could be over the age of thirteen, but that didn't bother the armoured knight; give me a fresh young recruit, Sir Wallace had always said, and he'd be able to turn out a knight who would serve you for life...

The general of Caelin's army eyed the two young men thoughtfully. To their credit, they didn't shift too nervously under his careful and steely gaze, but his high-polished armour seemed to awe them, somewhat; that was good, that was what it was supposed to do, and besides, he was their commanding officer, now...

Both young men were dressed in neatly turned out tunics; though he got the impression that the boy with the unruly hair and the good-natured expression wore his green tunic properly in an effort to impress, while the more serious-looking of the two, in the orange tunic, was simply neat and tidy by nature.

After turning out many of Caelin's finest knights, Wallace thought himself to be a good judge of character... The boy with the properly-combed red hair was sure to be officer material one day, he knew; he was one those people who acted more like he was thirty rather than thirteen. The brown-haired boy, and the more enthusiastic of the two, would probably become more of a freelance knight; and despite his easy-going nature, Wallace was sure he'd prove to be a hard worker,
as well.

Wallace finally met the gazes of both of his new recruits; the first, calm and serious, the other sparkling with excitement.

They come now...

Lord Eliwood's little band of toy soldiers... That idealistic fool. They've just entered the castle, my minions tell me...

But we are the Black Fang, and we cannot be stopped. They are weak, and our numbers are greater... Despite the betrayal of those two traitors.

Hmph. I always supected the Angel of Death might break his leash, one day... But that little twit, Nino... I would've thought the ties to her mother would've been far too tough to sever.

She should've been thankful to be given such opportunity to prove herself! Instead, she threw it away... Sonia was right; she was nothing but a weak child.

Ungrateful fool! What I wouldn't give for a mother like that!

*****

Vaida... That uppity bitch! How dare she try to turn Lady Sonia's regard away from me!

But I knew she would fail... Actually, I made sure she failed, by giving that foolish follower of Eliwood's one of my precious Hammerne staves. But that was a mere trifle, if it would guarantee me the chance of glory... In her eyes.

And so, I was granted the honour of supervising the death of the Crown Prince of Bern himself... And given strict orders to carry out, should the assassination attempt fail...

***

So, now... I stand here in darkness, awaiting the approach of my enemies... I cannot even contemplate failure.

Besides, my magic is powerful, and far-reaching... All will fall before they can even begin to approach me. And once I succeed in my mission, my power will know no bounds... I will be rewarded by Lord Nergal himself, and be praised handsomely by Lady Sonia.

The death of a petty prince is a small price to pay, for that.

BTW, the excerpts from the Ursula story are random clips, which is why they are so disjointed...

You know I never got why Ursula would give you a Hammerne stave. If she wanted you to beat Vaida, wouldn't a really strong bow or axe be more useful? Eh, oh well.

Hi, random person here. I'm looking forward to your cracked out Lucius/Pent story :D.

Actually, I find the Hammerne staff very useful, since it has the ability to repair any weapon you choose... But helpful specifically against Vaida? No, I guess not.

And about the Lucius/Pent fic... So close to finishing it, yet so far to go... (Just can't seem to complete writing it. -_-;)

BTW, love your icon. ^_~ Yay Link!

I actually never find myself using it, though that might be because I'm a miser who just saves all her special weapons for Light. Victory or Death if I'm feeling generous :D.

Heh, I know the feeling T_T.

Thanks! Your Lucius icon is adorable ^_^.
