I cannot believe there are not one, but two LJ communities dedicated to Bruno/Boots. XD
If you don't know who Bruno & Boots are (and I doubt anyone outside of Canada would; and even then, very few there might know them anyways), they are a from a book series by Gordon Korman, about pair of schoolboy mischiefmakers from a Canadian boarding school called Macdonald Hall... They are also the two I channel whenever I write about Kent and Sain. ^_~ (Believe me, it was a shock when I first realized this, a while back...)
Bruno Walton is the primary mischiefmaker of the duo; dark-haired, dark-eyed and generally good-natured (if sometimes melodramatic), he should've been born in the 60's, because of his revolutionary nature... He's always plotting something in each of the books.
Melvin P. O'Neal (aka Boots) is Bruno's best friend, and is almost a little too perfect... Blond, blue-eyed, athletic, does decently well in school... But is somewhat redeemed by his own mischievious streak. (He's also a sweetheart... Yeah, I love Boots. ^_~)
In other words, Bruno=Sain and Boots=Kent. XD
Sigh... I'm way too old for Bruno & Boots books now (they're targeted at middle schoolers, I believe), but I still re-read the books occasionally... *^_^* And my writing style emulates Korman's, to a certain degree (which was another bit of a shock for me ^_^;).
