This a story idea I've been musing upon for quite some time now; I originally came up with it sometime after writing my unfinished "War of the Rose" 'fic... It's basically a Sailor Moon/Ranma/Pokemon/Rayearth crossover, with a touch of Utena thrown in, for good measure. ^_~
Before skewering me for even thinking about such a combo, please, hear me out! ^_^; The basic idea is that the three main characters of the story, Tuxedo Mask (Sailor Moon), Tatewaki Kuno (Ranma 1/2) and James of Team Rocket (Pokemon) are pulled into Roseacea, Land of Dreams, where they must rescue a princess from an evil sorceress... (Sound familiar...? MKR, *cough* among other things... ^_~)
My reasoning for bringing such disparate characters together, is because all three of them are somewhat useless in their respective anime (and in some cases, reviled -_-;), so I wanted to bring them together in an enviroment where they become the main heroes of the story, for once. ^_^
I've come up with a lot of ideas inspired by various anime for this story... The "Magic Knights" wear a cross between a school uniform/prince outfit; bear rose marks on their hands that allow them to cast magic; use weapons that transform from roses... There's even an uberly-cute furry sidekick in it (although the knights refuse its help right from the get-go ^_~).
The main reason I haven't started on this story yet, is because that I'm afraid that people will not be familiar with all the anime I refer to in it... I had even considered writing it as an original 'fic, but I actually think it would work better as a fanfic, because of the direct anime references. ^_^;
I may decide to put up character descriptions later, if anyone's interested (there are three "original" characters, in addition to the anime ones). Oddly enough, I've written lots of info on this story, but have no outline, yet... (However, with enough encouragement, I might be inclined to start on the outline. ^_~) This will still be a huge undertaking, though...
