"War of the Rose: Magic Knights"

Here are character descriptions for my aforementioned story; I'm considering using them as "Character Spotlights" and inserting them in the story like commercials, for those not familiar with some of the characters... The parallels to Magic Knight Rayearth should be very obvious. ^_~ (BTW, "alignment" is a D&D thing, in case you didn't know):


Magic (Rose) Knights:

Name: Tuxedo Mask (Sailor Moon)
Rose colour: White
Weapon: Wind Wand
Alignment: Lawful Good
Spells: Healing Wind, Winds of Protection
Description:
The debonair superhero/love interest of Sailor Moon, he is often cast under the shadow of the heroines of the show (especially in the anime). In Roseacea, he becomes the reluctant leader of their motley crew of Magic Knights, and possesses the healing abilities of his manga counterpart.

Name: Tatewaki Kuno (Ranma 1/2)
Rose colour: Red
Weapon: Flame Sword
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Spells: Flame Arrow, Blue Thunder
Description:
A poetry-spouting kendoist, and punching bag of practically every martial artist in "Ranma 1/2", he also has a crush on two of the main characters (Akane Tendo and the mysterious "pig-tailed girl"). In the Magic Knights, however, he is the main warrior of their group, and perhaps, may even come into his own...

Name: James (Pokemon)
Rose colour: Blue
Weapon: Water Whip
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Spells: Aqua Illusion, Water Dragon
Description:
The ineffectual member of an incompetent Team Rocket trio, James will prove to be useful to the Magic Knights, despite the fact that he is a villain; his thieving abilities might even come in handy... (As well as some of his... Other skills...)


Roseaceans (original):

Name: High Priestess Treble
Title: Preserver of the Balance
Rose colour: Lavender
Alignment: Chaotic Good (though her real alignment is True Neutral)
Description:
Treble is the one guides the Magic Knights on their quest, by giving them their weapons and armour, and sending them on their journey (it should also be noted that she is a bit of a pervert, and will peep on the boys whenever she gets the chance).
Notes: Treble possesses attributes of Clef (hence her name), Presea, and Zagato from MKR.

Name: Princess Avon
Title: Ruler of Roseacea
Rose colour: Pink
Alignment: Neutral Good
Description:
The person who summoned the Magic Knights to Roseacea. With her long, red braid and blue eyes, she bears a striking resemblance to Tatewaki Kuno's beloved "pig-tailed girl"...

Name: Lady Rubella
Title: Royal Advisor
Rose colour: Black
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Description:
Also known as the Great Betrayer. She currently holds the princess hostage at Isle of Storms, which can only be reached after gathering all three Elemental Guardians of Roseacea.
Notes: Both Avon and Rubella are types of roses.

And...

Name: Apapa
Description: Cute, lop-eared bunny creature that says "Pi!" a lot.
Notes: One of CLAMP's members is named Mokona Apapa. ^_~


*Warning: Spoilers ahead* (Granted, the above descriptions are spoilers as well, but you might be able to derive the plot of the story if you read the following descriptions. ^_^;)

Elemental Guardians:

As aforementioned, there are elemental guardians to be found in this story... However, they're not completely similar to their MKR counterparts.

Name: Protege
Element: Fire
Description: Horse with flaming mane
Notes: Yes, this was inspired by Lantis' horse... And Protege is the American version of Lantis. (BTW, all MKR characters are named after cars.)

Name: Accord
Element: Water
Description: Hermit Crab

Name: Corolla
Element: Air
Description: Golden bird with rainbow tail

Dark Sorcerers:

Although this story bears many resemblances to MKR, it differs in that the enemy also has the ability to summon people from other worlds. ^_~

Name: Mikado Sanzenin (Ranma 1/2)
Rose colour: Ice Blue
Class: Ice Dancer
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Description:
A handsome martial arts ice skater, who's a playboy, to boot; he is decieved into serving Rubella when she tells him he must rescue his "pig-tailed princess" from the Magic Knights.
Notes: MKR counterparts: Alcyone, Caldina (although he wears Innova's costume).

Name: Butch (Pokemon)
Rose colour: Green
Class: Beast Summoner
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Description:
A favoured member of Team Rocket's boss, he is promised revenge against James, for helping to put him and his partner in jail.

Name: Jadeite (Sailor Moon)
Rose colour: Gray
Class: Illusionist
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Description:
Put into eternal sleep by Queen Beryl, he is awakened from his slumber when he is also promised vengance against Tuxedo Mask.
Notes: MKR counterpart: Caldina (but wears LaFarga's armour).
