I'm with the others - the FE games make plenty of references to real-world mythology, so if you want to use it in a story, I don't think it's out of place. Nice incorporation of the theme! I actually think the FE games could put a little more effort into talking about myths about the soul after death, because we're following a bunch of people who are riding into battle and facing death every chapter.
