Star Wars stuff

Forgot to mention this, but saw Revenge of the Sith on opening day (my sweetie, along with a few of his co-workers, actually took a half-day to see it! ;)P And although I'm not as much as a Star Wars fan as he is (though I think the original 3 movies rocked), I thought Episode 3 was pretty good. ^_^


The many hackings of Jedi limbs (both light and dark) kind of took away from the cutting off of Luke's hand from the original movies, in my mind.

Count Dooku's and General Grievious's duels were disappointing, and in the case of Dooku, short. (Anyone watch the Clone Wars cartoon? Grievious was pretty awesome in it, and that was what I was expecting, so his duel was a letdown.)

Palpatine was marvelously evil. 0_0

Anakin's "Nooooo!" and his megalomanical rant on the lava planet before he duels Obiwan was pretty corny. ;)P

I also think Padme gave up too easily on life...
