I just got defeated three times in a row in the Yugi-oh card game...
In front of company.
I am going to kill my significant other.
Why yes, I do happen to watch Yugi-oh... I blame it all on my aforementioned (and soon-to-be dead) significant other... We both a have a habit of watching Saturday morning cartoons together; WB's line-up is actually watchable, for the most part (although I don't mind watching One Piece, TMNT and Shaman King on Fox Box these days ^_^;).
Anyhoo, I watched the first episode of Yugi-oh when it first came out... After being bewildered by it, I refused to watch it again; however, my sweetie then started watching it, and got me hooked as well. -_-;
We've even developed our own, personal in-jokes for Yugi-oh; our favourite saying for the first season was "fade-away grampa"; my sweetie's current favourite is "dancing Taya" (second season ref ^_^;); and my personal favourite is "jacket flare". ^_~
My sweetie's even bought four of the starter decks for the card game itself (hence the previously mentioned handing over of my @$$ on a plate). It's bad enough I already have something like a 7-1 loss ratio to my partner; being defeated three times in a row doesn't help, at all (that's what I got for gloating over my single win, last time *^_^*).
Now excuse me, while I go strangle my dueling partner...
