Although I'm getting sick of Inuyasha filler episodes, I was actually looking forward to tonight's, "Only You, Sango", as it focused on Miroku/Sango; I was also pleased to discover that Kuranosuke(sp?), the rival for Sango's affections in this ep, was voiced by one of my favourite voice actors, Ted Cole (aka Wu Fei from Gundam Wing and Kuno from Ranma 1/2). I swear, I could listen to that voice sweet talk me all night... *^_^* (I also noticed that next week's episode is the one where we get to see Miroku and Inuyasha bathing in the hot springs, heh heh... ^_~)
Megas XRL (the "chicks dig giant robots" cartoon) has also been fairly amusing lately; even more so tonight, because of the blatant Sailor Moon ripoff episode. XD I mean, they nailed it down; the transformation sequence, the poses, the costumes... Even the hair! As a Sailor Moon fan, I just had to laugh...
There was nothing else on tonight that really caught my eye... Although today at noon, they showed a repeat of the Justice League Unlimited episode which featured, who I like to call the Ambiguously Gay Superhero Duo: Hawk and Dove (one's a man-of-action; the other's a pacifist). The odd part is, they're brothers; which just conjures up all sorts of disturbing images... XP When I first saw that episode, I kept on saying "OMG, those two are so gay", to the mutual amusement of my sweetie. XD
But as funny as I found that, that still doesn't top Batman singing "Am I Blue", from another JLU episode... (BTW, Batman's got pipes; I'm pretty sure his voice actor used to be in theatre at some point. ^_~)
