I want to join fe100... Not necessarily to write for it (100 themes boggles my mind, to be honest), but just so I can conveniently look through the wonderful fics that are being posted in it. (After seeing so many horrible summaries on FF.net, that comm completely restores my faith in Fire Emblem fan fiction. ^_^)

Still... I am tempted to actually write for some of the themes; heck, I've got a couple of story ideas brewing that are inspired by them, specifically. ^_^; But I sort of vowed to myself that I wouldn't commit myself completely to that comm until Sacred Stones came out (I want to make sure that I have a real handle on characters from an FE other than Blazing Sword... Even if it is only from the English translation ;)P.

Of course, the other reason I don't want to join is because everyone in the comm seems to be so much of a better writer than I am... ^_^;

I'm purposely saving some of the themes for Seima once I get through the game once that from my very limited understanding will work very well with it (coughRivalcough.) Of course, it's not likely I'm going to make a considerable dent in the 100 themes before I get a good handle on Seima -- in fact I imagine that by the time I actually finish all 100 I'll be writing Souen fic, too. @_@

But for now I'm trying to write mostly Seisen stuff for fe100, since I have insert_phrase to fill up with Rekka pieces (still going to write Rekka for fe100, though, and if I can THINK of anything, Fuuin -- haven't played or read enough to realllllly feel confident with Fuuin, though. I should play whatever's done of the patch so far...)

And please, I've seen some of your fics, you're a great writer and shouldn't be worrying about things like that.

Heh... This is part of the reason why I didn't want to post this; because everyone would try and convince me to join. ;)P

As for my opinions on my own writing skills... I can get pretty bipolar about it, actually. XD I'll be pleased about a particular piece I've written one second, but after reading something good, it'll be like, "Crap, my writing lacks any subtlety..."

Anyways, I won't be joining FE100 until I finish at least one piece for it; maybe two. (Unfortunately, although I do have a couple ideas for FE100, I just don't seem to feel like writing lately; for me, inspiration has to smack me over the head with a crowbar before I can really write anything.)

Well... Like Rosa said, it's best if you can write for as many Fire Emblem games as possible. (Besides, I want to write for Sacred Stones anyways, and I'd to know the source material inside out before I do so. ;)P

*nods* True. I'm dying to write more Seima fic myself...but given that all I have to work with is a partial script translation I'd rather wait for the US version to come out. ^^;
