Welcome! (I bring drabbles! :)
Just want to welcome the newcomers to my journal. :D I hope you'll enjoy a pleasant stay here please keep your arms and legs inside of your seats at all times.
Seriously though, I hope I don't bore you with my occasional ramblings; as I've mentioned before, I don't post very often, but when I do, I can get rather fangirly about random things. XD
In other news, finished a couple of FE drabbles from this writing meme. (Requests are still available; just keep in mind that I may be slow about filling them out.)

"Homemade" (prompt: a sweet treat)
The desserts created by the pastry chefs of Castle Caelin were elegant works of art, and every bit as sweet as they looked. But as lovely as these creations were, Lyn couldn't help but long for the simple, homey taste of one of the honeycakes made by her people.
So when Kent brought her back a sack of honeycakes that he had purchased in Bulgar, a delighted Lyn couldn't help but pull the startled Kent into a hug.
"The Lady Doth Protest" (prompt: lost)
As much as Farina would complain about being lost in the woods with Kent (loudly, and at length, while Kent would offer the occasional sheepish apology), she actually didn't mind it as much as she said she did.
Without their mounts to guide them back to camp, Farina found herself uneasy... So Kent's presence was actually a comfort to her; while most other people would argue back at her, Kent's stoic nature was like a solid wall to lean on.

"Two of a Kind" (prompt: common ground)
Hector winced as he heard a shrill but familiar voice behind him.
"Lord Hector? Lord Hector!"
With a sigh, the armoured lord turned around, to face an infuriated Serra.
"What is it, Serra?" he asked irritably.
"Lord Hector, I must inform you that I heard the most scandalous thing in camp just now!" Serra exclaimed, her long pigtails practically quivering in righteous fury.
Hector raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What's that?"
"When I was walking past the campfire earlier, I overheard someone ask 'if all Ostians were so infuriating'. How rude!"
Hector blinked. "Is that all?"
"Of course not! I tried to find out who said it, but by the time I got to the campfire, everyone was gone." Serra stamped a slippered foot. "I demand that you find the culprit and have them punished severely!"
"Don't you think you're overreacting a bit?"
"Overreacting? But it's insulting to Ostians everywhere!"
Hector rolled his eyes. "You didn't complain to anyone else about this, did you, Serra?"
"Only Matthew, but he just laughed about it," she replied, with a pout.
"Then you should too," concluded Hector.
"How can you just shrug this off, Lord Hector?" she exclaimed. "It's an affront to Ostia! Being of noble Ostian birth like myself, I thought you of all people would understand that!"
Hector sighed. "Serra, in a large army like this, there's bound to be some dissention in the ranks. The men are just blowing off a little steam, they mean nothing by it. If I punish them for such a small thing, it will make it even worse." He then smiled wryly. "Besides, the current ruler of Ostia would consider only being called 'infuriating', a compliment."
Serra turned away in a huff. "Then maybe all Ostians truly are infuriating," she said, with a hmph.
Hector glared at her back, as she walked away. "I was thinking the same thing," he muttered under his breath.
Apologies for these being super short, even for drabbles. :/ (And in the latter case, I hope I got the theme right...)
