WoW fangirl squeeing, and fanfic woes

As I've mentioned before, I'm writing a WoW fanfic for NaNo, featuring a couple of NPCs named Jadaar and Asric. (Their in-game relationship has evolved from being at odds with each other, to becoming wary friends, which I've been trying to portray in my story. :)

Well, I just found out that these characters have new convos in the next major game patch. O_o My inner fangirl is both squeeing and groaning inside, because as much as I love the new interaction between these two, I'm also worried that it might contradict my characterization of them in the story (I've already had consistency problems with writing the story itself, since some of the minor game mechanics I've taken note of, have already changed since I came up with the original story idea, several months ago... XP)

At any rate, I need to finish this story faster. *scurries off to finish next chapter*

EDIT: Holy crap, they already moved those NPCs? How did I miss this? O_O; *grumbles about having to add a disclaimer about when the 'fic takes place*

...I knew I should've written this story months ago. >:P

World of Warcraft: "Mystery of the Violet Citadel", Chapter 2

Another chapter done! :D The next one shouldn't be very long either, so hopefully I can get it done by the time the weekend is over.

I'm dying to post this story to FF.net, but am reluctant to do so... Apart from wanting to complete the story first, I'm worried about the reception it might get if I don't edit it well. (I've never posted to the Warcraft fandom before, and I'd like to think that the story might be well-recieved... But I'm also worried that the grammar Nazis and the game purists will rip it apart. >_<)
